I shuffled to it while driving someone I’m newly dating to the airport.

I think driving someone to the airport is one of the nicest things you can do in LA.

Most people won’t even drive to a different neighborhood, let alone across the city.

And if it’s a dating-type situation, it can be quite romantic.

That kiss at the gate at the drop-off.

With the airport cops letting you stay a little extra.

Because what are they going to say!

It’s a moment of ‘Exploding Hearts.’

Even if the real song "Modern Kicks” is about the challenges of a modern relationship.

It’s still a rollicking good time.

Most people wouldn’t say they get a kick out of taking someone to the airport.

But I can honestly say I do.

Even picking her up on Wednesday at 7 AM ;)
