i use a divinatory tool called “The Disruption Generator” …and, long before I found it, i had noticed that divination Is valuable in the way it up-ends mental loops that one is often stuck in when in the most need of a moment of divination.
that’s just where i would have gone if that song came up for me… perhaps it would have just been an additional note to play in the post to further the scope of the content… which is kinda what you were asking…

Yes, “The Disruption Generator” is a perfect reference for Perturbator! Just googled it. I may have to get a copy. And wow I didn’t know about canticumancy being a form of music mancy. Do you think of your practice most in terms of chaos, disrupting to create moments of clearer order?
i call myself a chaos magician all the time, but i never really consider it to be something i intentionally introduce to my experience. it’s more of using methods and tools to remind myself that confoundingly immense forces of chaos are embedded in this place we seem to live… and it is when we think we are making sense of things that we tend to be led into various states of suffering.
I'd love to have you come to the first Monthly Shuffle Club on September 11th...I will be announcing next post that the first month is open for everyone...I think you'd bring some really fun chaos and maybe help some of us with our suffering ;0
